TheMuncher Privacy Policy

What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We do not use analytics or advertising software. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not build a profile of you.
What is stored on your device
The game saves the following to your device so it can remember your progress between sessions. None of it is sent to us:
- The display name you type in
- Which Muncher you have selected, and what you have unlocked
- Coins, XP, level, quests, daily streak and days played
- Your best scores, which appear on the in-game leaderboard alongside computer opponents
- Your settings: sound, music, vibration, joystick size, reduce motion
Deleting the app removes all of it from the device. If iCloud sync is on, the copy in your own iCloud stays until you delete it there.
Syncing your progress across devices (iCloud)
TheMuncher can save a copy of your progress to your own private iCloud account: coins, XP, unlocked characters and settings. That way it carries over to your other Apple devices, or to a new one, instead of starting over.
This is optional. It works only while you are signed into iCloud with iCloud enabled for TheMuncher. Turn it off and progress simply stays on the device, as before.
We never see any of it. It sits in your iCloud, managed by Apple and covered by Apple's privacy terms. We have no server, no account system, and no way to look at your data. Only game progress is stored, never personal information.
You can stop the sync at any time by turning off iCloud for TheMuncher in your device settings.
Children
TheMuncher is made for children and adults alike. Because the game collects no data at all, there is nothing to consent to and nothing to request the deletion of. There is no chat, no messaging, no user-to-user content, and no way for one player to see another player's information.
Network access
TheMuncher plays entirely offline. No internet connection is ever required to play, and the game makes no network requests for advertising, analytics, or tracking. The one exception is the optional iCloud progress sync described above, which uses your own iCloud account.
Purchases
There are no in-app purchases and no real money in the game. Coins are earned by playing and have no cash value.
Changes to this policy
If a future version adds accounts or online play, this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the update will describe exactly what is sent and why. The version of this policy that applies to you is the one published for the version of the app you are running.
